Walk north but carefully–!
OMG, this face says it all !

Oh for crying out loud…I don’t think these seals like polys
(http://www.tomnod.com/campaign/campaign_2235/question/167947) . . . just makes me want to yank that poly to the left a bit
Here’s two more seals if anyone needs there fix topped up
I figured out that seals are a bit like buses … none show up for ages, then several come along in a row!
Yes and then when you finally spot some (like in the image I posted above), you click Seals, realise your mistake in the excitement and have to go back and correct it to No Seals because there outside the poly…that’s when you know it’s time to take a break
Seal Convention. Please refer to www.tomnod.com/campaign/campaign_2235/question/121094
There are 30 to 50 (or more) seals following the crack to the right of the poly. The seals are not in the poly but if you follow the crack both upwards until it ends and then downwards and swing right and then left and downwards there are an amazing number of seals just not in the poly. This is way too many to ignore or joke about if we are trying to count seals with any accuracy.
Oh wow Wilms, that’s a map not to be overlooked, they’re scattered all over the place in clusters and and pairs and singles dotted here, there and everywhere else…excellent find. And an excellent example of what they look like for those not so sure
I’ve been having a good scroll around the map after checking out those cracks you mentioned
I’m sure @Mel_Nod and @Michelle4 would have read your post at some point pretty soon anyway, but it’s always worth tagging them in to your post, as I’ve done for you, to draw their particular attention to it
Those sort of numbers just have me itching to get stuck in to tagging them
But don’t worry once we’ve completed this stage of eliminating empty polys I think we’re moving on to the next stage of the campaign of actually tagging them all
By the light, of the icy curtain…

Thank you Emerald Eyes for tagging my seal post for Mel_nod and Michelle4. I couldn’t believe how many seals there were!
They were always like that when I was growing up in the city (Albany, NY). Must be a bus driver thing?
And the forum software just kindly informed me to “Let others join the conversation… you’ve posted more than 26% of the replies here…” Well slap my wrist!
Ut oh-- it’s contagious!!! Everyone, buy some masks and gloves! No vaccine.
Discourse means communicating. So why does the software make talking sound like a disease?! LOL
We’re damned if we do and damned if we don’t, I’m getting those blue messages too on these lengthy posts, so I just ignore them
Rock climbing seals More seals surrounding rocks where the ice has cracked. A fair number are in the poly, but there are many outside the poly as well especially if you angle down and to the right. Interesting location @Mel_Nod and @Michelle4 as I did not think the seals liked land areas, preferring fast ice.
Hear of one hand clapping? This is one eye crying (turn sideways);
Strange bird! Owl? Giant statue?

Alright, someone tell me why this had me singing “Delta Dawn”? Think I’m going snow crazy…
( http://www.tomnod.com/campaign/campaign_2235/question/279662 )
my how time flies
Here’s a research camp I haven’t seen until tonight. From the poly head right to the first “rock,” then down to the “U-shaped” rock at the edge of the snow.
EDIT: Oops! I have to correct myself. I just realized that these buildings are the very same ones that @Steven_Cowburn posted the link to and I posted a screenshot of in posts 23 and 24 above. Double oops!
Are these curved lines seals?
