I noticed! My car was washed/waxed on Friday and was clean and shiny for less than a day before it got rained on! The rain was very dusty and gritty, more than likely that sand mixed up with it… left a dirty layer all over the car, which, with the salt they’ve been throwing around on the roads recently made me wonder just WHY I’d bothered to get it cleaned…

and we plunged into the deep freeze again, :snowflake::snowman_with_snow::cloud_with_snow: …wc -27 this morning…this is not spring-like,

Think “Tee-shirt weather… tee-shirt weather!”

For a cat, that would be “T-shirt, ooowwwll, cold butt” weather!

You’all forgot to tell me Jan-Feb does not include March. tsk tsk

I’m too lazy to split all that, so I changed this title and made a new thread for April… Which Jim already found… lol

Last year at this time, there was no snow, and temps were -1 to -10…Hopefully in the next weeks the temps warm up and the snow goes away and it starts to look like spring…:tulip::seedling::rosette::sun_with_face:

The 30th turned out quite well after a miserable start of being overcast, light rain showers and a constant mild but chilly breeze. By noon, it turned from overcast to just cloudy, but the winds picked up considerably - only filtered sun, but enough to raise the temperature for a daily high of 50F/10C. Of course the wind chill and dampness made it feel a lot chillier. Nearly all of our snow has melted, save for those areas where the winds had drifted the snows and packed them rock - er… ice - solid. We still have a waist-high pile of snow in my son’s front yard where we’ve piled some of the snow from the driveway. The pile is about the measurements of a mid-sized automobile.

31 March: After dropping down to just about freezing overnight, the temperature has risen to 42.4F/5,7C by 11:10 AM. The sun is shing brightly and there’s not a cloud in the sky! It’s mostly calm with just a hint of a slight breeze. Perfect weather for the granddaughters to go on the Easter egg hunt at the local VFW Post (Veterans of Foreign Wars).

We haven’t put our snow shovels and snow blowers away for the season yet. After all, we have had 3 foot/1 meter snow storms in April before. :grinning:
