Antarctica (mysteries & science) - mountains no human has touched or climbed

Entering a deep freeze preserves “youth”… sorta.

There’s a mountain range in them thar ice sheets— 2 miles down buried, yet rising upward of 8,000 to 15,000 feet ! Gamburtsev Mts. Not only that, but liquid lakes at the base of the mts. are buried too— still as liquid, not ice.

Antarctica: The only place on Earth where seals can climb to the tops of mountains and play! :grinning:
