" What is highest resolution satellite imagery?

The GeoEye-1 satellite has the high resolution imaging system and is able to collect images with a ground resolution of 0.41 meters (16 inches) in the panchromatic or black and white mode. It collects multispectral or color imagery at 1.65-meter resolution or about 64 inches."

I think Happy told us that Tomnod imagery comes in at 30m? (so sheep look like chickens). The closest resolution is for government.

That’s 30 cm. Depending upon which satellite the image comes from it’s either 30 cm or 50 cm.

Here’s a few links to some of the posts by Happy Mapper and Mel_Nod discussing the resolutions.

An interesting tidbit I didn’t know was that for a couple campaigns Tomnod used some 3rd party satellite images, images from drones and airplanes. How did I miss reading that?
